Description &
Responsibilities: Often patients and visitors are not
sure where they need to go. The Help Desk Volunteer (HDV) will greet and
provide information to anyone in need of assistance. The primary responsibilities
include answering questions, handing out directional literature and maps,
searching for names and telephone numbers from the UMDNJ directory and
providing general information.
Qualifications:
This position requires someone with excellent interpersonal,
telephone and verbal communication skills. You should have an interest
in providing good customer service. A nice dental and overall appearance
is important. Bilingual is preferred (English/Spanish/Portuguese). Knowledge
of the New Jersey Dental School is a plus, but we will train.
NJDS Support:
Training for this position will be offered. Above all,
you will be appreciated for your assistance to the NJDS family of students,
staff and faculty who work and learn in NJDS.
